Alanya - Guney Marina Restaurant
Location
We ate here on 25th June 2009 with Alan and Sue from S/Y Ticketeeboo and had a very pleasant evening.
Seems to be a fairly new restaurant on two levels - very nicely presented and decorated. We left the meal choice up to the waiter with instructions of something Turkish without chilli and had a really nice beef stew-type dish (don't recall the name). Alan had a dish that came in a clay vase, sitting on a plate of fire. In order to access the food the waiter broke of the the top of the vase - all very theatrical.
We were the only diners and so had first class service from the many waiters, including a spontaneous singing and dancing session of, what appeared to my ears, as traditional Turkish songs.
Dinner for 4, including beer, came to less than 90 lira, which we thought was reasonable for the whole experience.
